Important 2026 Opening Day Info!

We hope you’re as excited as we are for another great season of Little League baseball at National Little League of Albany! 

Here’s what you need to know for National’s 75th anniversary Opening Day on Saturday, May 2, 2026.

8:00 - 9:45 a.m. – Pancake breakfast at the AOH

Location: AOH Hall, 375 Ontario St., Albany, NY 12208

Fuel up for Opening Day with the always-excellent pancake breakfast put on by our long, long time supporters at the Ancient Order of Hibernians Hall. Please consider returning the love and supporting the AOH!

The Hibernians will be serving up pancakes, bacon, eggs and coffee.

• Adults: $12

• Kids 6-12: $6

• Under 5: Free

9:30 a.m – Player arrival & parade lineup

Location: AOH Hall lawn, 375 Ontario St., Albany, NY 12208

If you’re not joining us for pancakes, please be sure to arrive no later than 9:30 to gather with your team, receive your uniforms and line up for the parade!

You can either park at the AOH or park at the ballpark and walk over.

Here are the parade line-up locations outside the AOH. Majors will lead the way with Grand Slam teams toward the rear:

10:00 a.m. – Parade step off 

Location: AOH Hall, 375 Ontario St., Albany, NY 12208

This parade waits for no one! We will be marching to the ballpark at 10 a.m. sharp! Bring signs, sing songs, be loud! The route will take us down Ontario to Woodlawn, down Woodlawn to Partridge, down Partridge to Providence and into the ballpark for the Opening Ceremony on the Majors Field.

10:35 a.m – Opening Ceremony 

Location: National Little League of Albany, 686 Providence St., Albany, NY 12208

A brief on-field ceremony to celebrate the start of National’s 75th Anniversary Season, featuring special guests, a lot of thank-yous and a ceremonial first pitch!

12:00 p.m – Play ball!

Our first slate of games will kick off at noon sharp. Come ready to play and cheer!

This season, we’ll be using the GameChanger app. This will be the primary way coaches communicate with families, so please download it ASAP and, if you don’t have one already, create an account using the same email that you used to register your player with National. This will ensure you are able to find your NLL team.
