We’re watching the Opening Day forecast for Saturday closely. Here’s the latest:

Opening Day Pancakes are ON Rain or Shine!

We wouldn't miss this if it were raining maple syrup. Even if the morning is soggy, please plan to join us between 8:45 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. for the Opening Day Pancake Breakfast brought to us by the AOH!

We will distribute uniforms during the breakfast regardless of whether the parade and day’s games are impacted by rain (you do not need to participate in the breakfast to receive your uniform!).

Where: Ancient Order of Hibernians, 375 Ontario St.

When: 8:45-10:45 a.m.

Cost: Ages 12+ $10

Ages 8-12 $5

Under 8: Free

Reminder: This breakfast is a fundraiser for the AOH, one of National’s longtime dedicated sponsors, so please consider helping us support one of the organizations that support National!

The Parade

We will make a decision by midday Friday whether the parade will be happening in order to give APD enough time to adjust their plans. As soon as a decision is made, we will communicate it to families.

Games

We just don’t know yet – and may not know until we can assess the condition of the fields on Saturday morning. As soon as decisions about games are made, we will communicate them to families via Facebook, email and text message. Unless you hear otherwise from the league, you should always assume that games will proceed as scheduled.

This season, we’ll be using the GameChanger app. This will be the primary way coaches communicate with families, so please download it ASAP and, if you don’t have one already, create an account using the same email that you used to register your player with National. This will ensure you are able to find your NLL team.
